Use to eat here often years ago before I moved away. Upon returning, I’ve found it’s still as good as ever. Food is the best in the area and the staff can’t do enough for you. There was a problem with my order tonight which was entirely my fault and it was resolved with a smile and no extra charge. These guys are Stretford legends and deserve all the custom they get ????
Got my food about an hour ago. Just finished this huge portion which was only £5.30.
It was by far the best fish and chips AND curry sauce ive had since I was a kid.
Tasted like how it used to many years ago.
Greasy and full of flavour.
I drove past 3 chippys, one being across the road to my house to get these.
You made my trip worth it.

Large portions cheap prices. Things have changed alot since the last chap left and old owner took back over. In general I feel portions have been reduced although still above average size. I will comment on current experience and not previous, I would say the use of seasoning is less than other places, there is less salt/msg In the food, which is a good thing. In terms of portions I would say its above average but less than previously which I would describe as huge. Sweet and sour dishes I would rate as below average. King prawn dishes are very good and cheap. Vermicelli dishes are tasty and good value. Fresh chippy chips, not sure if the fish is fresh or frozen but got a feeling it is frozen variety. A very popular place and always busy, again avoid at busy times so you can enjoy the best food. Owner is very nice accommodating and friendly. 8/10
